Despite my on-going foot problems, I decided to get myself to the gym today and find something I could do that wouldn’t hurt my foot. I tried the bike, but I’m not a huge fan of the bike anyway, so didn’t last long. I realized that the elliptical would probably work and I was right! The motion doesn’t bend my foot at the toes, so I could really give effort without bothering my foot! I’m glad because all this sitting around, waiting for it to heal is going to take some time apparently. And having an excuse to not work out was okay for a little while, but I find that I am much happier and less stressed out when I get some exercise everyday. I don’t know why it’s do hard to remember that! I feel better already, even after only one short workout.
