Cooking continues! However, I’m not sure this is actually “cooking”. I made fresh salsa.

I had a ton of peppers, hot and sweet, from the farm share, as well as lots of tomatoes. I did an easy made up salsa recipe. I puréed some tomatoes and chopped peppers in the blender. Then added more chopped tomatoes for a more chunky texture. I added a little lemon juice and salt and pepper. First taste – way too hot! Those peppers were powerful! I added more and more tomatoes. I didn’t have any onion on hand, so I added a bunch of minced scallions (also from the farm share). It came out pretty good, and still quite hot.

Any other good ideas for using up lots of peppers and tomatoes?
