I love oregano on pizza. And I make homemade pizza quite often, so having fresh oregano from the farm share all summer is wonderful! But this year I thought I’d give drying the herbs a shot. My sister picked extra herbs at the farm for me. I washed them and spun them dry in my salad spinner. Then I laid them out on cookie sheets and put them in the oven on the lowest temp. I left the oven for a few hours, turned it off and left them in the oven overnight. The next day I pulled all the leaves off the stems, stored them in a plastic zipper bag and out them in the freezer.
Not as good as fresh herbs, but better than buying dried at the store!
