After four months of no exercise while my foot healed, I headed back to the gym today. This is the first time since the injury that I purposefully exercised, besides just walking around on vacation. I was nervous because the injury happened while exercising, although it was a stress fracture and might have happened as I walked across the room.
All went well today. I was able to use the elliptical machine without hurting my foot. I’m glad to get back into the routine. I know it might be hard to re-form this habit and stick to it after so long away, but with winter coming, I’ll be glad to go.
Somehow, the fact that its dark when I get out of work makes it easier. Time change = new start? What about you? Does it feel the start if something when the clocks change?
